One Connecticut is a statewide coalition of over 100 human service, labor, interfaith and advocacy organizations that began collaborating in 2000 to fight poverty and build economic security.

Our Mission is to narrow our state’s divides in health care, education, income and housing through sufficient public investment, equitable taxes and a vibrant democracy.

Through the coalition, One Connecticut:

· Creates opportunities for people to have a voice.

· Advocates for policy solutions.

· Educates members, policy makers and the media.

Our Vision:

To create a prosperous state free of damaging economic disparities for all residents, municipalities, and regions.
